Why use a Hospitalist?

We are readily available to provide prompt, excellent inpatient medical care to your patients. We operate and have someone on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365-days per year. There is also an in-house provider available for the majority of that time. This allows us to be accessible to the patients and their families to answer questions and review treatment strategies.

We have been successful in cultivating a great report with consultants, hospital staff, and community resource staff to collaborate patient care. Our primary goal is to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to all our patients through the entirety of their hospital stay and once the patient is discharged, to seamlessly transition the care to the community setting and back into your practice. Our support staff will provide prompt notifications about admission and discharges so that adequate follow-up can be established. Admissions/transfer process

Direct admits from physician offices or outpatient facilities:

Monday–Friday 7:00–3:00. Contact our Practice Manager Dannay Fredenburg at 941-486-6927 and she will direct you to the on-call provider.

Off hours, weekends, or anytime. Contact the operator at Venice Regional at 941-485-7711 and they will be able to contact the on-call provider.

 

Transfer to and from other acute care facilities:
